The Susquehanna Bass Association is a bass club based in Oneonta, NY. We have approximately 70 members from across the central New York region. The club was formed in 1987, and fishes regular bass tournaments every week or two from June through the end of October. We fish in two-person teams, usually with a five-fish limit.

The annual Art and Nate VanSteenburg Memorial Classic was held on Otsego Lake, October 21 to 22. Twenty-eight teams competed in two days of cold, rain and wind, with many struggling to find fish. Despite the conditions some impressive limits were brought to the scale, with Bo and Tom DeMarco winning (for the second year in a row) with a two-day total of 34.69 lb.
Bo and Tom have had quite a season, having also taken first place as Anglers of the Year (see below).
